Cyber security is one of the issues of the world which is ignored by most of the people. People should be aware of what cyber security is? Who are BLACK HAT hackers? Who are WHITE HAT Hackers?   • First of all what cyber security is? It is your internet privacy like privacy in real life people think that they have nothing to hide on internet but they have surely something to hide like bank account password, social media accounts password, family pictures and so on… this all information of yours is in danger until the world has Black hat hackers.
  • Black hat hackers are the hackers who hack your information and blackmail you in want of money. You can call them thieves of internet. When there is evil in world there is good also. For these thieves there is internet police called White hat hackers.
  • White hat hackers are the government licensed hackers who catch Black hat hackers and prevent cyber attacks. Now I will tell you how hackers access your computer. There are several ways but most used ways are given below:
  • Phishing: phishing is one of the ways used by most of hackers. They send you message from fake email id and ask you for your sensitive information like passwords. The message would be like “download this application” “you have won reward” etc. and ask you to login from Gmail id. In case if you get message or some file to open from unwanted email don’t open it simply delete it.
  • Pirated websites: pirated websites are the websites that give you paid items for free which may contain virus which will infect your mobile or pc to prevent it, don’t download from pirated websites. ALWAYS DOWNLOAD FORM TRUSTED SITES.
  • Click jacking: click jacking is a way of hacking in which hacker show it target some icons and ask them to click on it, these icons usually display on Internet websites. To prevent it don’t click on unknown icons.
  • Changing of usb flash drive with friend or stranger: don’t change usb drive with friend or any untrustworthy person as they may load virus on your computer and hack it. To prevent it don’t give or take any usb with friend and give it to only trusted person, as sometimes your friend can be python in sleeves.
  • Giving email password: don’t give email password to anyone who asks you for it, if they say they don’t have email tell them how to create and use their own email.
  • At last in case if you have become their target tell the government officials on the cyber security helpline of your country, don’t be panic and don’t give your personal information if they blackmail you.
